He is also a member of the Personal Finance Society and the Chartered Insurance Institute. He has a strong knowledge of tax, trust and estate planning through working within a law firm for over 20 years.
He enjoys encouraging younger members of the team and mentoring them through their early careers as financial advisers.
He was previously the first Independent Financial Adviser in the country to become a Partner of a law firm, one of the few multi-disciplinary practices in the North West.
Richard has three sons and is a fitness fanatic: he enjoys CrossFit and can be found training at 05:45am every morning before work and regularly enters into CrossFit competitions, running races and also Hyrox too. He encourages his sons to keep active as well and regularly goes abroad snowboarding with them all each winter.
